Perceptrak® is an advanced video analytics system that delivers the full potential of surveillance systems by making it possible to manage, monitor, transmit, store and retrieve information from video, both in real time for incident recognition and response, and after the fact for forensic purposes. Perceptrak continuously analyzes video from every camera in real time to deliver and record the information most relevant to your security operation. Proven in dozens of commercial installations, Perceptrak is much more powerful than motion detection. It validates the presence of people, vehicles or objects and looks for patterns that could represent a threat. Since Perceptrak works 24x7 with every camera, it raises the effectiveness of security forces, which can then be deployed more flexibly to handle additional responsibilities or preempt potential security violations. Perceptrak is powered by Cernium’s Perception Based Analytics™ technology that mimics the human visual process to analyze video 8x–10x more efficiently than comparable offerings.
