About Company
The business was founded in 2002 under the name of Quantumatic Northern Ltd and initially was a franchised installer of CCTV systems under the Quantum brand name. In mid 2004 the company severed its ties with the franchisor to become an independent supplier and installer, subsequently changing its name to Vuetek Ltd later in the same year. Since that time the business has grown steadily building a reputation for delivering quality CCTV solutions at best value prices and backed up by excellent customer support.
As a company with a strong technological base we have been early adopters of new innovations and products such as network cameras and video analytics. In 2006 we became certified partners of Milestone who are leading suppliers of network video management software. In the same year we became authorised partners of Axis the leading network camera manufacturer. More recently we have taken on board other innovative software products including Mirasys network video software and Symphony, the video analytics product from Aimetis.
In 2007 the Company partnered with Topsys-IT, the distributers of EPOS software from Omega and Positive to become a Platinum reseller of these products. We selected these products not only for the fact that they are leading products in their own right but also because of their ability to stream transaction data over a network that can be captured by a CCTV system to provide a fully integrated solution, allowing synchronised transaction data and video footage to be intelligently searched and replayed.
During 2008 we added Wireless Nurse Call systems to our portfolio, allowing us to provide a comprehensive service to nursing and retirement homes covering CCTV, Access control, Nurse Call and radio paging. To further compliment our range of services we also introduced digital signage solutions covering single stand alone displays to multi-display networked systems.
